The umbrella body of all sons and daughters of Ibadan land, the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII) has completed arrangements to host the newly inaugurated Minister for Mines and Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu.
The event, according to Mr. Adetokunbo Ayobami Subair, who is the Secretary General of Council, is scheduled for Friday, 25th August, 2023 at Ibadan House.
The Minister is also expected to pay a courtesy visit to the Palace of Olubadan of Ibadan Land, Oba (Dr.) Lekan Balogun.
Chief Adebayo Adelabu will in the same vein observe Jumat at the Central Mosque, Oja’ba under the umbrella of Chief Imam of Ibadan Land, Sheikh Abdulganiyy Agbotomokekere on the same day.
According to the CCII General Secretary, “the Honourable Minister for Mines and Power our, RT Hon. Bayo Adelabu will be paying a courtesy call on the CCII on Friday 25/8/23 by 4pm.
“All members of the Executive Council, Presidents and Secretaries of Constituent clubs, as well as other members of the CCII constituent clubs are invited to welcome the Honourable Minister.
“Okebadan a gbè wa o.”
This is coming barely some days after his inauguration as Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria by the President, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
