As Muslims all over the world celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Fitri to mark the successful end of fast in the holy month of Ramadan, Asiwaju Adini Musulumi of Ibadanland, Arc (Dr.) Hassan Olawale Giwa has charged the Muslim ummah to emulate the virtues of Prophet Muhammed.

The charge was contained in a goodwill message signed and made available to journalists in Ibadan to commemorate the day.

The founder of Hassan Olawale Giwa (HOG) Foundation used the occasion to call on Muslim ummah love and share with the less privileged in the society as demonstrated by Prophet Muhammed.

“I congratulate Muslim Ummah all over the country, Oyo State and Ibadan in particular for the successful completion of this year’s Ramadan fast. As we are celebrating, I want to urge the entire Muslim faithful to put all lessons learnt during the Ramadan into practice to guide the day-to-day activities.

“As Muslims, we need to exemplify all lessons learned during Ramadan by showing love and sharing with the less privileged in the society, preach and promote peaceful coexistence among the people.

“I also want to use this medium to congratulate the Chief Imam of Ibadanland, Sheikh Abdulganiyy Agbotomokekere and the entire Imam-in-Council, Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta States, Alhaji Dawud Akinola Makanjuola, Asiwaju Adinni of Yoruba Land, Alhaji Tunde Badmus, Asiwaju Adini Musulumi of Oyo State, Alhaji Mutiu Oladejo Onimalu and Babasaale Musulumi of Ibadanland, Alhaji Lateef Oyelade, Iya Adini of Oyo State, Alhaja Shekinah Adekola and all other Islamic title holders for their effort in promoting Islam before, during and after Ramadan,” Arc Hassan Giwa said.
