Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi has congratulated the ace Fuji artist, Taye Adebisi Currency following his son’s, Hon. Yusuf Adebisi re-election bid to the Oyo State House of Assembly.
The first class monarch, who just returned from a trip to Brazil, expressed his happiness when he was informed about news of Yusuf’s re-election.
Ooni said that the re-election bid of young chap like Yusuf Adebisi is sacrosanct for the development and progress of the country’s democracy.
Hon. Yusuf Adebisi, who is the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was announced and declared winner of the March 18th Ibadan South West state constituency 1 seat, after he defeated his closet rival and candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Tolani Adigun Tajudeen and Alabi Abraham Oladiran of Accord Party.
Adebisi, the Deputy Chief Whip in the state Assembly polled a total number of 7,696 votes to defeat APC and Accord Party candidates, who scored 5,031 votes and 1,210 votes respectively.
Thank God that PDP is victorious Hon Oladeni have his mandate I pray that God will give him ability to perform excellently.
