It was an atmosphere full of fun, excitement and joy as old boys and girls of Ibadan Grammar School, Molete, Millennium Set gathered together to celebrate the Annual Reunion Programme.
The fun filled event, which was held on Monday, January 2nd, 2023 within the school premises, was put together by Ibadan Grammar School Old Students’ Association (IGSOSA) Millennium Set.
The then old boys and girls, now fathers and mothers used the occasion to elect the new set of executives that will steer the wheel of the association for next two years.
The programme, which was highlighted with different activities such as tour, games (cheese, ludo, scrabble), mimic and other side attractions to add glamour to the event, witnessed Engr. Oluwa Daniel took up the mantle of leadership of the association from Alhaji Biola Olaniyan.
Speaking on behalf of the former President, Dr. Bisi Babasanya, who also stepped aside as the Vice President, commended all members for their support throughout the tenure.
She assured the whole house of their readiness to rally support for the new executive members to ensure smooth running of association.
In his acceptance speech, the newly elected President, Engr. Oluwa Daniel, appreciated the support of all members of the Millennium Set both at home and in the diaspora for their moral and financial assistance so far.
He promised that his administration with support of other executives will not renege on the promise to form an inclusive government and to keep abreast of all members of the association’s plans of action.
