Not less than two persons have been reportedly killed by gunmen in Igangan in Ibarapa zone of Oyo State.
The gunmen were reportedly the Igangan Police station in the Ibarapa North Local Government Area of Oyo State and kill one police officer, a Divisional Crime Officer and a suspect who was in detention.
The Commissioner of Police in the state, Adebowale Williams and his men had visited the crime scene.
The incident happened on Tuesday night.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Adewale Osifeso, had earlier confirmed the incident, saying the CP was on his way to the affected police station.
