Ibadan West Political Head, Adigun Tajudeen, Hon. Adebisi Commission Projects At Born Photo, Foko, Agbokojo, Others

The Political Head and administration of Ibadan West Local Council Development Area, Alesinloye, Hon. Adigun Tajudeen and member of the Oyo State House of Assembly representing Ibadan South West constituency 1, Hon. Yusuf Adebisi recently led hundreds of residents of the council area to commission several projects in the area.

Also joining the team in the commissioning of the projects was the member of the House of Assembly representing Ibadan South West state constituency 2, Hon. Fowokanmi Oluwafemi, PDP Chairman in the local government, Moruf Balogun and many other political big wigs in the local government.

Projects commissioned include Toilet/Deep Well at Born Photo, Bridge at Gege Market, Borehole at Agbeni Ologede, Solar Street Light at Agbeni Foko, Toilet/Deep Well at Foko, Drainage at Agbokojo, and Toilet/Deep Well at Ogunpa Market.

The team also used the opportunity to inspect the ongoing project of construction of a block of three classrooms at Oke-Ayo.

Speaking during the commissioning, the Political Head and Administration of Ibadan West Local Council Development Area, Hon. Adigun Tajudeen, appreciated the support of the people of the Council to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) led administration in Oyo State.

He attributed the success of all the projects to God and the state Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, who he described as the people’s governor.

Hon. Adigun established that the projects are in line with the governor’s vision to bring the state out of poverty into prosperity by extending the dividends of democracy to the people at the grassroots.

The Political Head of Ibadan West LCDA, therefore, charged the people of the Council area to reciprocate the good gesture by casting their votes to the Peoples Democratic Party to elect Engr. Seyi Makinde and the lawmakers representing the constituency for the second time to ensure continuity of good governance.

In his address, Hon. Yusuf Adebisi, commended the people for their support, he expressed that they will not relent in their efforts to ensure the benefits of good governance under the administration of Engr. Seyi Makinde reached every nooks and crannies of the local government.

He stated that all the projects commissioned were the beginning of good things to happen to the council, promising more laudable projects are on their way.

Hon. Adebisi assured the people of Born Photo of a new transformer to ensure regular power in the area, and also extension of solar street lights to Gege Market.

The lawmakers reiterated that all the projects were in line with the demands of the people in the council area, therefore, appealed to the people to ensure regular maintenance and safety.

Hon. Adebisi further noted that the ongoing police station project and secondary school to the constituency will also be commissioned.

His counterpart from constituency 2, Hon. Fowokanmi Oluwafemi, urged the people to continue to give their support to the PDP led government in the state.

He said that the last administration failed to responded to the yearning of the people to attend to many of these projects for several years, however, reiterated that PDP remains the only party that has the interest of the people at heart

In their separate remarks, Iyaloja of Gege, Alhaja Simbiat Atiku and CDC Chairman, appreciated the effort of Ibadan West LCDA Political Head, Hon. Adigun Tajudeen and the lawmakers for their prompt response to the calls of the people in the local government.

They promised their support and residents of the council area to the PDP, Engr. Seyi Makinde and the lawmakers for the constituency in the coming elections in the state.
