The Chairman of Hassan Olawale Giwa (HOG) Foundation, Arc (Dr.) Hassan Giwa has mourned the death of the former Commissioner and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Hon. Hammed Iyiola Ambali.
Arc. Giwa also commiserated with the family left behind and prayed that God will them the fortitude to bear the loss.
In a press statement made to the journalists by the Lagelu/Akinyele House of Representatives hopeful, described the late APC chieftain as a core party man and a grassroots mobilizer, who his death will sorely be missed.
He said that the death of the former Oyo House of Assembly member was a blow to the All Progressives Congress (APC) not only in Akinyele but Oyo State as a whole.
Giwa urged the family to take solace in the almighty Allah, saying that He is the giveth and taketh of life.
The House of Representatives aspirant, therefore, condoled members of the APC in Akinyele Local Government, Lagelu/Akinyele federal constituency and Oyo State over the death of a beloved party chieftain, Hon. Hammed Iyiola Ambali.
Hon. Ambali was announced dead after a brief illness and has been buried according to Islamic rite in his house at Alaagba in Akinyele Local Government area of the state.
He was a former Commissioner Agriculture and Natural Resources, a former Council Chairman and former Lawmaker, representing Akinyele state constituency 2 in the Oyo State House of Assembly.
Hon. Iyiola Ambali died at the age of 66.
