*As Health Committee Visits Facility
The lawmaker representing Ibadan South West state constituency one in the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Yusuf Adebisi has commended Governor Seyi Makinde following the reconstruction of Foko Community Primary Healthcare Center into ultra modern status.
The lawmaker, who gave the commendation during the visit of the Oyo State House of Assembly Committee on Health to the ongoing project site, described the move by the state governor as a giant stride in the history of the constituency.
Hon. Yusuf Adebisi explained that Governor Seyi Makinde deserved commendation not because of the approval for the project but for the speedy work on the project.
The lawmaker, who is also the Deputy Chief Whip of the House, therefore, advised the members of the community to be watchdog of the project, saying that it may be a lifetime opportunity that may not come in recent years to the community.
The four-man Committee visited the Ultra Modern Primary Health Care Center located at Foko, Born Photo area, Ibadan on Wednesday to assess the level of the project which will e commissioning soon.
The Committee which included Hon. Akintunde Olajide, Hon. Rasak Ademola, Hon. Owolabi Olusola commended appreciated Hon. Adebisi, who is monitoring the progress of the project.
They described the youngest lawmaker as a good ambassador and true representative of the people of Ibadan South West constituency one.
In the reaction of the committee against the background information of the community as one of the hot spot in the Ibadan, the described the people of the community as friendly and accommodating for allowing the Ultra Modern Primary Healthcare Center situated in the area.
The delegation also included the representatives of the health officers from Ibadan South West Local Government and Head of Ibadan South West Local Council Development Area, by Hon. Atu.
It will be recalled that the remodeled Foko Primary Healthcare Center was one of the primary healthcare centers in the state approved by Governor seyi Makinde to bring health care facility to the door steps of the people through the request by the community and facilitated by lawmaker representing the constituency.
