Barrister Wakil Oyeleru Oyedemi has congratulated the newly crowned Olubadan, His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Moshood Ishola Olalekan Balogun, Alli-Okunmade ll on his coronation as the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland.
Bar Oyedemi, in a congratulatory message to the new monarch, felicitated the ecstatic scions of Alli-Iwo, Olubadan-In-Council, Iyalode-In-Council and illustrious sons and daughters of Ibadan land, home and abroad on the ascension Oba Lekan Balogun to the throne of his forefathers.
The chieftain of the All Progressives Congress and leading aspirant in the 2023 Oyo Central Senatorial District extolled Oba Olalekan Balogun as a highbrowed personality whose vast experience in the public administration would help in great measure to surpass the efforts of his predecessors in the social and economic growth of the city.
He, as well, commended the rank and file of Ibadan Elders Council, Ibadan Progressives Union, IPU and all the affiliated indigenous groups for their intervention in restoring the values and rotational process of the Olubadan stool.
He enjoined the newly enthroned Olubadan to explore his enviable wealth of experience in royalty and politics to embrace all and sundry in the council and political world to put an end to the growing hooliganism, brigandage, land grabbing and other vices across the length and breadth of Ibadan.
Barrister Oyedemi, in conclusion prayed that Oba (Sen.) Moshood Olalekan Balogun, Alli-Okunmade ll’s reign bring peace and unprecedented prosperity to both indigenes and residents with sound health, divine wisdom and longevity for the monarch on the throne of his forebears.
