Oyo Operation Burst Hands Over N50 Million Worth Of Stolen Goods To Owner

Alhaji Rabiu Ahamed Dambata, the owner of the N50 million worth of stolen goods discovered by the Oyo State Joint Security Task Force (Operation Burst) has commended the task force

Dambatta, who is the representative of Saidawa Global Link Limited, Apapa Lagos, gave the commendation in Ibadan during the handing over of recovered goods (praying mats).

He noted that the security outfit deserves commendation for their loyalty in carrying out their duty.

Dambatta revealed that the goods was missing at the port and they had made effort to report it, while later heard that the operative of the Operation Burst recovered the items in Ibadan.

It will be recalled that the Operation Burst personnel recovered the stolen items on Saturday 22nd of January, 2022 around 6:00am at an undeveloped plot of land behind Lead city University along Lagos – Ibadan Expressway after a tip off.

Earlier, the Director General of Operation Burst, Colonel James Oladipo (Rtd), said that the handing over of the goods to the Monitoring Unit of the Nigeria Police, Eleyele Ibadan through Inspector Kazeem Olufowobi was in line with due process.

Among those who witnessed the event were the top officers of the outfit, legal practitioner and some representative from the Saidawa Global Link Limited Apapa, Lagos.
