
The Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde has dissolved the State Executive Council.
The dissolution announcement was made shortly after the weekly State Council meeting on Tuesday.
The news, which was confirmed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr Taiwo Adisa, stated that the Secretary to State Government and Director of Due Process were retained by the governor.
Makinde commended the ex-appointees for their commitment and efforts towards the success of his administration.
The dissolution of the state cabinet affected the Chief of Staff, 17 Commissioners, Special Advisers, Executive Assistants and Special Assistants.
