Mr. Balarabe Shehu Ilelah, a veteran broadcaster has been appointed as the Director-General of the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC).
President Muhammadu Buhari confirmed the appointment and was announced by the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed.
This was contained in a statement issued in Abuja on Friday.
He said Mr. Ilelah’s appointment is for tenure of five years in the first instance.
