The Governor of Cross River State, Ben Ayade, has sacked four commissioners from his cabinet.
Also sacked were five other political appointees.
The sack new was disclosed by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Publicity, Mr. Christian Ita in a statement on Monday in Calabar, the state capital.
The affected commissioners include Mike Usibe, Commissioner for New Cities Development, Rita Ayim, Commissioner for Women Affairs, Asu Okang, Commissioner for Information and Orientation, and Ntufam Etim, Commissioner for Climate Change.
