As music lovers especially Fuji genre are mourning the death of America-based Ibadan born Fuji artist, Taofeek Adewale Amoo (Igisekele), a popular Ibadan-based Fuji vocalist, Alhaji Taye Akande Adebisi (Currency) has also expressed his condolence.
The sudden death of Igisekele was described as traumatic for the Fuji lovers all the world.
Currency on his Facebook page described his death as a great lose, not only to the fans but also to the Fuji industry.
According to renowned Fuji artist, “I’m very saddened to hear of your loss.
My prayers are with you and your family.
Accept my deepest and heartfelt condolences. May your Perfect Soul Rest in Peace my Brother Alhaji Amo Igisekele.”
Taofeek Amoo, who is based in Newark, America, hailed from Alagolo Compound, Oja’ba Ibadan, Oyo State capital.
The United States of America-based musician was reportedly dead after a brief illness of malaria.
