Over $65 Million: President Buhari’s Son-In-Law Declared Wanted By ICPC

The Independent Corrupt Practices & Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) has declared wanted, President Muhammadu Buhari’s son-in-law over 65 million dollar allegation.

Yau Gimba Kumo, who was declared wanted married the President’s daughter in 2016.

The anti-corruption agency, in a notice posted to its website, said Yau Gimba Kumo is wanted, alongside two others, Mr. Tarry Rufus and Mr. Bola Ogunsola.

According to information on the website page of the agency, they were declared wanted in connection with issues bordering on misappropriation of National Housing Funds and diversion of $65 million.

Mr. Kumo was a former Managing Director of Mortgage Bank.

He reportedly married Fatima Buhari in 2016, in a wedding ceremony that took place in the President’s hometown of Daura.

Present at the wedding were the then Governors of Gombe, Ibrahim Dankwambo, and his counterpart from Bauchi, Muhammad Abubakar.
