Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State and the Speaker of the House of Assembly, Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin have announced the winners of their polling unit and ward respectfully.
Makinde, who cast his vote at polling unit 1, Ward 11, Abayomi, Iwo Road in Ibadan North East Local Government, scored a total number of 174 votes to defeat Teslim Folarin, who polled 23 votes and Adebayo Adelabu with 5 votes respectively.
Also, the Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Adebo Ogundoyin won in his polling unit with 81 votes to defeat APC and Accord Party candidates with 21 and 7 votes respectively.
Hon. Ogundoyin cast his vote at polling unit 5, Ward 2, Ajisafe Anko, Eruwa in Ibarapa East Local Government area of the state.
Meanwhile, the results for the entire units in Ward 2 of the local government according to the Speaker’s Media Aude, Oyetunji Oyekunle, indicated that Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin has won the ward with 1,395 votes, while APC and Accord Party candidates polled 488 and 306 votes.
