Zee International Limited, a subsidiary of Zee Construction Limited and owner of 200 acres (82 hectares) of land at Km 27, Lagos–Ibadan Expressway, has filed a N57 billion lawsuit against the Oyo State Government for trespass, assault and theft.
The firm, in a Suit No: I/1018/2025 filed at the High Court of Oyo State on 26th August 2025, demanded payment damages of ₦57 billion, public apology, and injunctive reliefs to restrain further trespass.
According to the statement by the lead counsel to Zee International Limited, Taiwo Onayinka Esq. , alleged that Oyo State Commissioner for Lands, Housing and Urban Development, Williams Akin-Funmilayo, backed by military personnel and Amotekun Corps harassed and brutalised workers, and destroyed properties (including moulded blocks), and carted away equipment worth millions of Naira.
Included in the charges is Oyo State Government, Attorney General of Oyo State, Ministry of Lands, Housing & Urban Development, Office of the Surveyor-General, Surveyor Yemi Jolaosho, Olayanju Olayinka, Amotekun Corps and unknown trespassers.

Led by the Commissioner for Lands, Housing & Urban Development, Williams Akin-Funmilayo and backed by military personnel and Amotekun Corps, the intruders harassed and brutalised workers, destroyed properties (including moulded blocks), and carted away equipment worth millions of Naira.
